11. How do we use social networks?

11.1. Our company uses social networks in various ways. With their help, we promote the use of our prefabricated buildings, advertise the products and services of our partners in the field of design, construction and improve our own services.

We can offer you to log in to your personal account using a social network account. This saves you from having to remember another username and password. It is enough to enter your personal account once using your social network account, and you can always do this in the future. You can disconnect the linking of these accounts to each other at any time.

We have built in plugins for social networks in our website and applications. When you click on one of the buttons (for example, “Like” from Facebook), certain information is transmitted to the social network provider. If at this time you are in the social network account, the provider can associate these actions with your account and display them in your profile for other users.

We can implement other social network services (for example, instant messengers) to interact with your contacts on issues related to our services. We can also maintain our accounts and offer applications on social networks. When connected to the WebSteell application, a social network provider may allow you to share information with us. If you want to do this, most likely the provider will notify you of what information will be transmitted. For example, when you log in to WebSteell using a social network account, certain information (with your permission) may be transferred to WebSteell. This may include email, your age, or profile photo from your account.

If you sign up for a WebSteell social network application or connect a social network messenger without having a WebSteell personal account, the information that you can transfer to us may include basic information from your profile on the social network (including email, status updates and contact list). We use it to better provide you with the requested service. For example, to forward the message that you want to send to your contacts, or to tailor our application or site to your needs. As a result, we can tailor our applications for you and improve our services. The social network provider will be able to tell you in more detail how it uses and processes your data when you connect to WebSteell using this social network.

14. Cookies and Similar Technologies

14.1 In order to receive and record data on how the services of PK Vesta LLC are used, we use a variety of technologies, for example, we can add cookies or similar technologies to your device. In the same way, we get statistics on services intended for our partners: usually these are solutions for working with advertising and the functions of PK Vesta LLC, implemented on external sites.

These technologies are either used directly by us, or by our business partners, including third-party service providers and advertising platforms with which we work.

In addition to cookies, other similar tracking technologies are used. These may include, for example, web beacons (also known as pixel tags, web bugs, or gifs) that track URLs or software development kit (SDKs). A web beacon is a 1-pixel microscopic image that enters your computer through an HTML email message. We use these pixels to get information about your device: for example, device type, operating system, IP address and time of visit to the site. Web beacons can also be used to deliver and read cookies on your device. URL tracking is required to know which site the user is accessing from the site or in the WebSteel application. The SDK is a short code embedded in applications that functions in the same way as cookies and web beacons.

All of the technologies referred to in this document will be referred to as cookies.

14.2 How are cookies used?

Cookies are used for various purposes. Thanks to them, you are recognized as the same user on different pages of the site, on different sites or when using the application.

Our applications and website use cookies for various purposes:

Technical Cookies. We try to provide users with a modern and convenient site that automatically adapts to their needs and desires. To do this, we use technical cookies, which allows us to show you our site, ensure its proper functioning, create your user account, give you the opportunity to log into your account and manage orders. These technical cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function smoothly.

Functional cookies. We also use functional cookies to remember your preferences and help you use our site effectively. For example, we remember your preferred language, currency, your previous search settings. We can also use these cookies to remember your login information, which eliminates the need to re-enter your username and password each time. In this case, your password will always be stored in encrypted form. These functional cookies are not strictly necessary for the operation of our site, but they add functionality for you as a user, making the WebSteel site more convenient to use.

Analytical Cookies. We use these cookies to find out how WebSteel users use the site. This helps us understand what works and what doesn’t, as well as optimize the site and applications and improve their performance, analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and information materials and make sure that the site remains interesting and useful to users. We collect information, including which pages you visited, from which pages you went to which and from which you left the site, about what type of platform you used, what emails you opened and what they clicked on, date and time use of the site.

It also means that we can use data about how you interact with the site, in particular, the number of clicks on the page, mouse movements and scrolling, search words and other text that you enter in different fields. When conducting advertising campaigns on the Internet, we use analytical cookies to find out how users interact with our website or applications after they see an advertisement (including on third-party sites). We can also use analytic cookies so that our partners can find out if their customers have taken advantage of the offers integrated on their sites.

Commercial cookies: We use third-party cookies as well as our own cookies to display advertisements on our website and other platforms. This practice is called “retargeting” and is based on actions you take on the Internet, for example, your search history for destinations, objects viewed, and prices that were shown to you.

14.3. How you can manage cookies

To learn more about how to work with cookies or delete them, go to allaboutcookies.org and in the Help / Help section of your browser. Through browser settings (for example, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome) you can choose which cookies to accept and which to reject. The location of the settings depends on which browser you are using. To find the necessary settings, use the Help / Help function in your browser.

If you decide to refuse certain technical and / or functional cookies, some functions of our site may not be available to you. We do not currently support the Do Not Track feature in your browser settings. If in the future a common standard is developed that defines what exactly is meant by “Do Not Track” signals in the browser, we will revise this document.

Advertising. We try to work only with those online advertising and marketing companies that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and / or the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). NAI and IAB members adhere to industry standards and a code of ethics. NAI and IAB members offer a common way to opt out of behavioral advertising. Visit www.networkadvertising.org to find out which NAI members placed the advertising cookie on your computer.

To opt out of the NAI member company’s “behavioral” advertising program, simply check the box for the appropriate company. You can also visit www.youronlinechoices.com or www.youradchoices.com to learn how to opt out of personalized advertising. Your mobile device may allow you to restrict data retargeting through your settings. Please note that refusal to receive advertising from a specific provider does not mean that you will no longer receive online advertising or will not be exposed to online advertising, as well as marketing analysis. Failure means that the provider whose ads you have refused will no longer place ads based on your web preferences and features of the site.

Analytics. To monitor the collection of data for analytical purposes by Google Analytics from certain types of browsers, visit the following page: Google Analytics Blocker (available only from a desktop computer). To monitor data collection for analytical purposes by the Yandex.Metrica service (tracking pixel belonging to the Russian search resource Yandex), users using Russian, Ukrainian or Turkish can visit the following page: yandex.com. The Yandex.Metrica service works only for these three languages. You can also opt out of personalized Yandex ads. To do this, visit this page and uncheck the box next to "Take into account my interests."
