PK VESTA announces an order for a pre-engineered sports hall 24W x 62L x 6H in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
The client, a multi-industry holding company from Uzbekistan, conducted a thorough study in the CIS countries to find a reliable supplier of prefabricated sports facilities made out of lightweight metal structures. Given the extensive experience of the Tula plant in designing sports facilities in many countries, the client decided to work with PK Vesta.
The steel frame with a width of 24 meters has a single-span design (without internal columns) with an internal height of 6 meters based on LSGF (cold-formed profiles) technology. The steel building is considered non-standard in this design, given the 8 points of seismicity and increased wind loads on the construction site. The factory applies special metal with a yield strength of up to 420 MPa, thickness of up to 3.5 mm and a modernized new sigma profile W350. The building assembly goes entirely with 100% bolted connections without any welding in strict accordance with the assembly schemes from the factory.
Everything is covered with standard non-combustible sandwich panels (walls - 100 mm and roof 150 mm) taking into account shaped and fastening elements based on yellow (1018), light gray (9002) and blue (5005) colors. An improved version of the roof skylight with increased thermal insulation properties is used in the ridge (an arched structure with 4-layer modern polycarbonate, 16 mm thick and 2 mm aluminum profiles)
