PK VESTA announces an order for a pre-engineered sports hall measuring 15.3W x 30L x 6/4H made of out LGF in Volnovakha, DPR, Russia
The Tula-based plant has received another order for a standard prefabricated sports hall measuring 15.3W x 30L x 6/4H in Volnovakha, DPR, Russia. Similar projects have been successfully completed in Russia and abroad. The local municipal school plans to build the project next to its existing structure. The new steel building will host various regional and national sports events.
The project is based on the most advanced technology – light gauge steel framing (LGSF), which allows for the rapid fabrication of a steel frame according to a unified design, taking into account local building codes (wind and snow loads), in just over a month. The steel frame is 100% bolted, eliminating the need for welding, rivets, or screws. The entire structure is clad in fireproof sandwich panels (120mm walls and 150mm roofing with mineral Rockwool with a density of at least 110 kg/m3 and a corrugated sheet thickness of at least 0.5mm). The steel building includes basic utility rooms (changing rooms, showers, hallway, sports equipment storage room, electrical panel, toilets, etc.).
