PK VESTA announces the beginning of the assembly of pre-fabricated superstructure (roof extension) 15 x 70 x 3.3 made out of LSGF for the third floor of the old brick building under the technical area and offices in Tula, Russia. The entire building made out of light metal structures was promptly priced and designed in the innovative WebSteel online service by one of the Indian Russian pharmaceutical companies.
The installation process is going on unusually fast in cramped conditions. An expert examination was carried out on the load-carrying capacity of the existing brick building, then the roof of the 3rd floor was dismantled, the reinforced concrete belt was poured together with the anchor groups (high-strength bolts 8.8) for future vertical columns. On time, the entire building kit was brought from the factory of PK VESTA.
All columns were operatively erected on the reinforced belt, taking into account the high elevations of elevator shafts, the bay spacing and the center distance of the openings. At the same time, truss groups were assembled in the courtyard on wooden bases. Lifting truss made out of lightweight steel structures took a maximum of 2 days over the entire 70 m length of the steel building, with further tightening of all bolts on the structures. Installation of sandwich panels will begin as soon as possible. The sandwich panels and vent facades of the old building will be on the same plane.
