PK VESTA announces an order for a pre-engineered auto repair shop (14W x 9.5L x 4H) made out of LSGF in Suvorov, Russia
A local entrepreneur decided to build a pre-engineered auto repair shop (14W x 9.5L x 4H) using lightweight steel structures in Suvorov, Russia. The key criteria for selecting the manufacturer was a lightweight, prefabricated steel structure with 100% bolted connections.
The end of the steel building included three framed openings for sectional doors (3W x 3.5H) and a freestanding fire-proof door (1W x 2.1H). A new translucent roof skylight (3W x 5.5L) made out of industrial polycarbonate (16mm, 4-layer) with a ventilation flap was installed on the roof. Cladding: walls – 120mm (mineral Rockwool) and roof – 150mm (mineral Rockwool).
Given the small size of the building, LSGF technology was chosen, providing 100% anticorrosion protection (without the need for expensive anti-corrosion paint, unlike ferrous metal frames). The steel frame is assembled like a LEGO kit on a reinforced concrete slab.
The pre-engineered auto repair shop was designed using the free web service WebSteel (http://websteel.pkvesta.com)
