PK VESTA announces the completion of a pre-engineered supermarket, measuring 18W x 66L x 5H, made out of light gauge steel framing (LSF) in Astrakhan, Russia. The client, who had previously worked with the plant, decided to order another steel building for a development project to be leased by a local retail chain.
A standard 18-meter span was chosen. The prefabricated building is completely free of inner load-bearing columns. The steel frame is based on the latest Light Steel Frame technology (cold-formed galvanized steel), ensuring 100% protection against corrosion (class I galvanization only – 275 g/sq.m. – galvanized coating protection). The entire steel structure is assembled using 100% bolted connections, eliminating welding, rivets, and screws.
The steel frame is sheathed with fire-proof sandwich panels (walls – 100 mm, roof – 150 mm), ensuring airtightness and high thermal insulation properties. The building kit includes all trimming and fastening elements. No additional purchases are required during the assembly phase.
The pre-engineered supermarket was designed and priced using the innovative WebSteel web service. The client created the design project himself, taking into account two basic color schemes: Gray 7004 and Yellow 1018.
